Mission & Background
The Midland, Texas location of Design Solutions and Integration (DSI) was established in 2017. Our purpose here is to serve oil and gas producers, industrial clients, and municipalities in the fast-moving Permian Basin region.
As a faith-based, 100% employee-owned company with over 25 years of experience, DSI brings innovation, reliability, and a culture of ownership to every project. With operations strategically located across six key sites, our Midland facility adds to our national footprint and local responsiveness in the Permian Basin oil field.
At our Midland, TX location we offer:

DSI’s UL-certified panel shop builds industrial control panels that are engineered, wired, labeled, tested, documented, and ready for field installation.

- Pump control panels
- VFD and motor control panels
- Repeat-build panel programs
- Factory acceptance testing and documentation
Fabrication
DSI fabrication runs out of its own facility, building the skids, supports, frames, platforms, and mounts that critical systems depend on. Work is fabricated in the shop, then shipped out and installed in the field, coordinated with the electrical, automation, panel shop, and field teams from the start so it fits when it arrives.

Field & Facility Services
DSI field teams work on live sites: installation, startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, modifications, and long-term system performance. This is also where DSI’s certified welding sits, including ASME National Board R Stamp pressure vessel repair and other welding and fabrication repairs carried out in the field.
